How to choose your tapestry

Measure the wall or the space to cover: the backdrops exist in several formats, from a panel behind a party table to a hanging that covers a bedroom wall; formats and prices are the seller's, in the “Format” option. The thin fabric goes up with clips, push pins, or double-sided tape, and folds into a drawer between uses.

Then the motif: the alphabet wall for a bedroom or a themed birthday, Hawkins at dusk for a TV corner, Welcome to the Other Side for Halloween, the role-playing club emblem for a player's desk. Visuals are printed on one side; hand wash in cold water, dry flat, iron on a low temperature on the reverse.

A whole wall of Hawkins

Joyce's alphabet wall has become the most copied party set in the show: string lights, letters, and every guest looking for their name. The backdrops in this collection reproduce that wall large, on wood, brick, or a white ground, for a birthday, a season-launch night, or simply a fan bedroom. Fan-drawn visuals, no actor photo and no show logo.

How do I hang a backdrop?

With clips, push pins, or double-sided tape on the edges; the fabric is light. Some product pages mention grommets or a hanging strip when the seller provides them.

Does the backdrop work outside a party?

Yes: stretched behind a bed, a desk, or a couch, it becomes a permanent hanging. The format is chosen in the “Format” option on the product page.

How do I wash a printed tapestry?

By hand, in cold water, dry flat and iron on a low temperature on the reverse; no machine, which wrinkles the print.

Do the visuals pick up images from the show?

No: they are fan illustrations (the monster as a poster, the alphabet wall, Hawkins signs). No actor photo and no show logo, and the shop is not affiliated with anyone.

Lead times and returns?

Preparation within 2 business days, delivery in 7-12 business days in total, tracking by email. Returns possible within 14 days of receipt, unused item in its packaging, return shipping at your expense: write to contact@strangerthings-shop.fr.

Pour aller plus loin

When the wall is already covered

A tapestry does not decorate a wall, it replaces it: it takes the whole stretch and sets the backdrop of the room, which explains its two uses, bedroom wall the rest of the year, photo backdrop on the day the house is full. On that ground, the birthday section takes over: candles, plates, banner.

Once the wall is covered, there is almost nothing left to add: a poster hung off-center breaks up the flat expanse, and the volume happens lower down instead, a throw tossed over the bed, a few cushions picking up one color from the tapestry. Stretched on rods, pinned at all four corners or simply left to hang, it looks nothing alike: try all three before you fix anything in place. The rest is filed under home decor, and the page that gathers all our collections gives you the full view.
