How to choose your Max piece

For a cosplay, the track jacket is the recognizable piece; the jacket-and-top set completes the silhouette, the wig finishes the character. For a child, the jacket exists in junior sizes and the Running Up That Hill T-shirt in 100 to 150 cm. For a bag or a denim jacket, the pin and the keychain pick up the walkman, the object that has defined her since season 4.

The mini figures play her with her skateboard, her bike, or her vials, and combine with Lucas and the rest of the party. Each product page lists the sizes the seller actually offers, with the measurement chart in centimeters when there is one. The visuals are fan drawings: no actress photo, no show logo.

A walkman against the curse

She shows up in Hawkins in 1984, skate under her arm, better than all the boys at the arcade, and it takes time for the party to let her in. Two years later, haunted by her stepbrother's death, she only escapes the season 4 monster thanks to a cassette: her favorite song, played on loop in a walkman, brings her back to her friends. The scene has become one of the most famous in the show, and this collection keeps its symbols: the walkman, the cassette, the jacket.

What is the most recognizable piece for a Max cosplay?

The track jacket, with its contrast stripes: that's the one fans spot. Add the wig and a walkman headset and the character is complete.

Does the jacket exist in a kids' size?

Yes, a kids' product page and an adult product page, each with its actually available sizes and the seller's measurement chart when there is one.

What do the walkman pin and keychain represent?

The cassette player that saves her in season 4: a symbol every fan recognizes, in enamel for the pin, in acrylic for the keychain.

Do the visuals show the actress?

No. The character appears drawn, as a mini figure, or through her objects: walkman, cassette, skateboard. No photo, no show logo.

Lead times and returns for an item from this collection?

Preparation within 2 business days, delivery in 7-12 business days in total, tracking by email. Returns within 14 days of receipt, item neither worn nor used, return shipping at your expense: write to contact@strangerthings-shop.fr.

Pour aller plus loin

What you listen to after Max

The Walkman keychain is not an accessory: it is the object that saves her, and the show stops for a few minutes to make that clear. If you leave with the Running Up That Hill T-shirt, the rest is two clicks away: the Vecna collection gathers the one who pushed her to the edge, and the Eleven collection takes you back to the girl she shares a complicated friendship with.

To stay on music, go see Eddie Munson: between her Walkman and the guitar on the roof, the same season plays out twice on a song. Our Hawkins merch widens the setting to Hawkins High and the mall, our article on Running Up That Hill explains why Kate Bush's track works, our overview of the show's music puts it back among the other songs, and the page devoted to Max traces her arc.
